Hotrod Studios was founded by Roderick Simmons in 2010. Roderick is a multitalented professional with many professional backgrounds. Hotrod is what his friends called him back in the day and it stuck. Roderick went to school after High School to become a recording engineer because of his love for music. Roderick traveled with concert production companies and groups soon after he finished school. Roderick started his first business called Solar Security in 1990, an Auto accessory shop where he installed custom audio, security and window tinting. After a couple of years, Roderick, because of his knowledge of computers was getting many requests to repair and build computers so he started another company called PC TUTOR PLUS. Roderick also had a passion for taking pictures and shooting video everywhere he went. He was called the “Cameraman”. Roderick was the DJ for all the neighborhood parties and would design the coolest flyers. So, In 2010 Roderick decided to combine all of his talents into one company, HOTROD STUDIOS.

We have grown our customer base every year mostly by referrals. Our future is solely based on satisfying our customers by proving excellent quality, and customer service. This has lead to more referrals which has continued to grow our business.

The visionary
Roderick Simmons
Roderick Simmons, Studied Art, Recording Engineering, Photography, and electronics. Roderick was a retail sales manager, Insurance Sales manager and a cable and Satelite installation manager. Roderick is currently the Audio Video director for a megachurch in western NY. With these many skills, Roderick has developed the experience and leadership to run his own successful business. Roderick has a passion for pleasing people which is why he has so many people coming back.
Our Mission
Our goal for the future is to get a new studios headquarters and employ more people. We want to have the newest state of the art equipment to accommodate all service request. In addition, HOTROD STUDIOS plans to have a free training workshop to teach young adults how to develop skills in the media field.
